2011 Fall Regional

Join us at this year’s Fall Regional. The Regional starts Saturday morning at 10 AM. Evening arrival on October 14 is encouraged, but not necessary to take full part in the Regional Events. On Saturday, Keith Keppel will be the guest speaker and will also do the Judges Training on Sunday on Median Iris. Saturday's events also include a Reblooming show, a lunch buffet, and social hour.
For registrations before October 8, 2011, the cost is $50, otherwise there is a $60 late registration price for attendance.
New to this Regional
There will be three separate drawing for each of three different, new bearded iris introductions. The Drawing will be at the mid points of meeting, winners mucst be present to win. Rick Tasco will be presented the 2010 AIS Hybridizer's Medal during the Regional.
General Information
The Regional headquarters is the Red Lion Hotel, 1830 Hilltop Drive, Redding, CA. From I-5, take Hilltop Drive Exit. The Red Lion Hotel is one block to the right. The hotel is minutes away from many local attractions including the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Complimentary transportation is available from 6AM to 11PM daily from the Fedding Municipal Airport.

Additional Activities of Interest
Thoses attending the Regional Meeting are encouraged to visit the Redding Botanic Gardens. Special rates for our group are being arranged. The gardens include the famous Sundial Bridge spanning the Sacramento River.
